Salt Spring – Spring 2020

Though it’s still mid February, there are already signs of spring! Temperatures are rising, and the ground is warming ever so slightly, and we often get a sunny patch when the rains let up, and nature begins to suggest change again. Was a mild winter as they go, which we’re grateful for. Significant snowfalls rarely happen, even in our less predictable climate world. And while they are beautiful to behold, it’s hard to mountain bike in those conditions, which I love, so I’m pleased we can more gently pass into a new spring!

Here, I’m walking with our newest member of the family, Olive! She came to us somewhat unexpectedly in January, at 11 months, and already loves the wild!
